Across the lagoon from San Pedro, we are the first installment in the only master planned community in Belize, Costa Del Sol. San Pedro is a tropical town of quintessential Caribbean charm and magnificent history. A short twenty minute flight from Belize City, San Pedro was originally a fishing village, but now the local economy is now fueled almost exclusively by tourism. Walk the sand streets in bare feet or the brick paths along the coast, and enjoy a Belkin Beer in one of many fine restaurants. Ever since Hollywood’s elite began vacationing here (and Madonna wrote a song about the island - La Isla Bonita) strict laws have been put in place to keep the town’s heritage intact. No building is higher then a coconut palm, most vehicles are golf carts, and eco-friendly shops and services are all around.

Around the island, spectacular sights await. Bird watching is a common activity, as many tropical species are only found here. Diving the coast is a daily outing for locals and tourists alike, and they recommend you leave half your wardrobe at home, since you will likely be wear your swimsuit, sunblock and a hat all day long.
